About

Who runs this site

I’m a freelancer. I’ve sent invoices from three continents, chased late payments at 2 a.m., and wasted money on software that promised to “streamline my workflow” and mostly streamlined money out of my bank account.

BillToFlow exists because I got tired of “reviews” that are just vendor ads in a trench coat. You know the ones: every tool gets 4.5 stars, the “winner” is whichever pays the highest commission, and the pricing table was last updated when flip phones were cool.

Why you can trust us

  • We actually use the tools. Every comparison on this site is based on hands-on testing — real accounts, real invoices, real fee math. If we haven’t clicked through it ourselves, we say so.
  • We disclose our money. BillToFlow earns affiliate commissions when you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. Every review and comparison says so at the top of the page. We’d rather lose a commission than your trust.
  • We update pricing monthly. Software pricing changes constantly — free tiers get capped, “introductory” prices expire. Our pricing tables carry a verification date so you know exactly how fresh the numbers are.

What we cover

Invoicing software, client management tools, contracts, payments, and time tracking — everything a solo freelancer needs to get paid without the admin headache. We write for freelancers, not “small businesses”: no enterprise fluff, no features you’ll never touch.

We also cover the stuff most review sites ignore: getting paid across borders, multi-currency fees, and what actually works when PayPal isn’t an option in your country.

BillToFlow: honest tools for solo freelancers. If a tool isn’t worth your money, we’ll tell you — even if it costs us a commission.
